山東箏家高自成，一九一八年十二月一日出生於山東省鄆城高莊一農家，二零一零年八月二十一日病逝於西安。鄆城為魯西南著名之古箏之鄉、嗩呐之鄉、曲藝之鄉。而高莊亦為鄆城一帶著名之「戲疙瘩」，鄉民甚好戲曲與音樂。高氏字銘勳，自幼喪母，亦好音樂，由彈箏高手的祖父高廣思及叔父高繼賢啟蒙，學奏箏、揚琴及唱琴書。六歲時，高氏入學堂念「洋書」，因家境不濟而輟學，但迷於箏藝。稍長，經同窗高克奇介紹，於每晚收工後，步行至相隔二十五里路的張坑村隨箏家張為昭習大板曲子，至深夜方歸，歷時三年。一九三一年，高氏又向由東北返故里之張為台、黃懷德，張念勝、黎連俊習箏與揚琴。一九三五年，又得王殿玉收為徒，並參加王氏之「東魯雅樂團」。一九五五年，入總政文工團，一九五七年，調西安音樂專科學校（後改西安音樂學院）任教，一九六二年，西安音樂學院聘河南箏家王省吾到校講課，高氏與王氏均發現河南箏與山東箏之曲調與風格甚為相近，有將兩者合為重奏之設想，歷經半年，編曲十首，定名為《魯豫大板套曲》，在西安曾有演出，一九八零年，再作整理完稿。一九八三年六月，「秦箏學會」在西安成立，高氏被選為該會會長。
GAO Zi-cheng
GAO Zi-cheng was born 0n December 1,1918 in Yuncheng, Shandong province and passed away of illness on August 21,2010 in Xi’an. His first name was Ming-xun and he started to learn the zheng and yangqin from his grandfather GAO Guang-si and his uncle GAO Ji-xian since his childhood. Later, he was introduced by his classmate GAO Ke-qi to learn the zheng under ZHANG Wei-zhao who lived twenty five miles away from his home. In 1931, he further studied the zheng and yangqin under ZHANG Wei-tai, HUANG Huai-de, ZHANG Nian-sheng and LI Lian-jun. In 1935, he learned under WANG Dian-yu and joined Wang’s Ensemble of Dong Lu. In 1955, he was appointed to the Main Politic Song and Dance Troup in Beijing. In 1957, he was transferred to teach in Xi’an Conservatory. In1962, when the zheng artist WANG Sheng-wu of the Henan school joined Xi’an Conservatory, both of Gao and Wang found that the zheng melody and style the Shangdong school and the Henan school were really close. They then used half year’s time to arrange ten duet pieces of them and named these Da Ban Tao Qu of Lu and Yu and reedited and completed the draft in 1980. He was elected the first president of the Qin Zheng Association, which was founded in June 1983 in Xi’an.
