蘇思棣先生，一九四九年出生於廣州，大學時主修中國書畫。早年曾隨黃權先生習簫笛，後隨蔡德允女士習古琴，近年又隨蔡昌壽先生斲琴。現為本港德愔琴社社長。並任香港中文大學與浸會大學音樂系古琴導師。
多年來有關古琴之活動如琴學研究、打譜、斲琴等均有涉獵，亦常參與演奏、講座、示範、教學、錄音等活動。曾參與策劃“清角遺音”與“海天秋月”古琴文化展覽。亦曾在中、港、台、日、比、瑞、奧、荷、德、美等地作古琴演奏。
SOU Si-tai was born in 1949 in Guangzhou, Huangdong Province. When he was in university, he studied the Chinese painting. He was fond of Chinese wind instruments and studied under Mr. HUANG Quan. Later on, he learned the qin under TSAR Teh-yun and also learning qin-making under CHOI Cheong-sau. He is now the chairman of the Deyin Qin Society and the qin teacher of the Music Department of the Baptism University.
