廣東音樂曲藝團,是一專門從事廣東音樂和廣東曲藝表演的專業文藝團體,1958年由前身的廣東民間音樂團與廣州曲藝聯誼會一、二演出隊合編成立。首任團長周遜,副團長黎田;之後,黎民、白燕仔、黃金蘭、李丹紅、黃俊英、薛子亮、黃潤根、梁玉嶸等先後擔任團長。演出形式主要為廣東音樂及粵曲和白話相聲等。曾擁有劉天一、方漢、朱海、梁秋等一批知名的廣東音樂演奏家和熊飛影、源妙生、白燕仔、何麗芳、黃少梅、譚佩儀、李丹紅、楊達、黃俊英等一批曲藝演唱家、相聲表演藝術家。繼後,湯凱旋、陳瑞麟、李燕熙、吳國平、何克寧、黃鼎世、劉國強等中青年演奏家及陳玲玉、梁玉嶸、何萍、李敏華等青年曲藝演唱家相繼脫穎而出。藝團擁有雄厚的創作力量,創作、撰寫、編配、整理了一大批優秀的廣東音樂和廣東曲藝作品,廣為流傳,備受讚賞。廣東音樂曲藝團在歷屆全國及省、市各項音樂、曲藝比賽和調演中,獲得不少榮譽和獎項。該團成立以來,頻繁赴香港演出,還先後訪問過前蘇聯、羅馬尼亞、波蘭、捷克、日本、朝鮮、緬甸、美國、加拿大、英國、新加坡、澳大利亞等國家,為廣東音樂和曲藝走上國際舞台作出了積極貢獻。
The Guangdong Music & Folk Art Troupe is a professional performing arts group specializing in Guangdong music and Cantonese operatic performances. It was established in 1958 through the merger of the former Guangdong Folk Music Group and the Guangzhou Quyi Association’s first and second performance teams. ZHOU Xun served as the first artistic director, with LI Tian as the deputy artistic director. Subsequently, LI Min, BAI Yan-zai, HUANG Jin-lan, LI Dan-hong, HUANG Jun-ying, XUE Zi-liang, HUANG Run-gen, and LIANG Yu-rong successively held the position of artistic director. The troupe’s performances mainly include Guangdong music, Cantonese opera, and comedic storytelling in the local dialect. It has featured renowned Guangdong musicians such as LIU Tian-yi, FANG Han, ZHU Hai, and LIANG Qiu, as well as quyi (Chinese narrative singing and storytelling) performers including XIONG Fei-ying, YUAN Miao-sheng, BAI Yan-zai, HE Li-fang, HUANG Shao-mei, TAN Pei-yi, LI Dan-hong, YANG Da, and HUANG Jun-ying. Later, a new generation of talented musicians emerged, including TANG Kai-xuan, CHEN Rui-lin, LI Yan-xi, WU Guo-ping, HE Ke-ning, HUANG Ding-shi, and LIU Guo-qiang, as well as young quyi performers like CHEN Ling-yu, LIANG Yu-rong, HE Ping, and LI Min-hua. The troupe possesses a strong creative force and has composed, written, arranged, and compiled a large number of excellent Guangdong music and quyi works that have gained wide acclaim and popularity.
The Guangdong Music & Folk Art Troupe has achieved numerous honors and awards in various national, provincial, and municipal music and quyi competitions and performances. Since its establishment, the troupe has frequently performed in Hong Kong and has also visited countries such as the former Soviet Union, Romania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Japan, North Korea, Myanmar, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Australia, making significant contributions to promoting Guangdong music and quyi on the international stage.
