中國廣播民族樂團,原名中央人民廣播電台文工團民族管弦樂隊,成立於一九五三年四月;一九八○年改現名;2004年與中國電影樂團民族樂團重組整合成近百人的演奏編制,與中國電影交響樂團、中國廣播說唱團、中國廣播合唱團、中國廣播電聲樂團從屬於中國廣播藝術團,是中國同類型民族樂團中成立最早的團體之一。該團主要任務是為廣播、電影、電視提供人民群眾喜聞樂見的民族音樂節目,通過播出和錄製唱片為國內外人士服務。
該團的樂隊由弓弦樂組、彈撥樂組、吹管樂組、打擊樂組(包括一個民歌演唱組)所組成。半世紀以來該團演播了幾千首樂曲,並錄製了數以百計的唱片。為適應民族樂隊發展的需要,該團從一九五三年起對各種民族樂器進行收集、整理,並對揚琴、阮、笙、排鼓、馬頭琴等一些樂器進行了成功的改革。
該團在不斷的藝術實踐中,成長了一批音樂專業人才。如:彭修文、劉明源、胡海泉、陸青霜、張韶、俞良模、王國潼、劉森、王範地、簡廣易,及優秀的指揮家彭家鵬、張列等。由該團創作、改編的器樂合奏曲《春江花月夜》、《月兒高》、《流水操》、《豐收鑼鼓》、《喜洋洋》、《紫竹調》,笛子獨奏曲《牧民新歌》,二胡齊奏曲《喜看麥田千層浪》,已成為該團的保留曲目。從一九五七年後,樂團曾先後出訪世界70多個國家和地區,為中國民族文化藝術走向世界做出了不懈的努力和卓越的貢獻!
China Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra, formerly known as the Central People’s Radio Broadcasting Art Troupe Traditional Orchestra, was established in April 1953. It changed its name in 1980 and underwent reorganization and integration with the China Film Orchestra Traditional Orchestra in 2004, forming a nearly hundred-member ensemble. It is affiliated with the China Broadcasting Art Troupe along with the China Film Symphony Orchestra, China Broadcasting Rap Troupe, China Broadcasting Chorus, and China Broadcasting Electronic Music Orchestra. It is one of the earliest established groups among similar traditional orchestras in China. The main mission of the orchestra is to provide popular traditional music programs for radio, film, and television, serving domestic and international audiences through broadcasts and record releases.
The orchestra consists of string section, plucked instruments section, wind instruments section, percussion section (including a folk song vocal section). Over the past half-century, the orchestra has performed thousands of pieces and recorded hundreds of albums. To meet the needs of the development of the traditional orchestra, the orchestra has been collecting and organizing various traditional instruments since 1953, and has successfully reformed instruments such as yangqin, ruan, sheng, paigu, and matouqin.
Through continuous artistic practice, the orchestra has nurtured a group of music professionals, such as PENG Xiu-wen, LIU Ming-yuan, HU Hai-quan, LU Qing-shuang, ZHANG Shao, YU Liang-mo, WANG Guo-tong, LIU Sen, WANG Fan-di, JIAN Guang-yi, as well as outstanding conductors PENG Jia-peng, ZHANG Lie, and others. Instrumental ensemble compositions and adaptations created by the orchestra, such as “Moonlight over the River in Spring “, ” Moon is High”, “Flowing Water Drill”, “Harvest Drums”, “Festive Joy”, “Purple Bamboo Tune”, bamboo flute solo “New Song of the Herdsman,” and erhu ensemble “Enjoying the Billowing Waves in the Wheat Field,” have become the orchestra’s signature pieces. Since 1957, the orchestra has visited more than 70 countries and regions, making unremitting efforts and outstanding contributions to promoting Chinese traditional cultural arts worldwide.
