张尊连,一九六四年出生于山东青岛,九岁开始自学二胡,一九七七年考入中央音乐学院附中,一九八六年以优异成绩毕业于中国音乐学院,并留校任教,一九九八年就读于“文化部民族声乐、民族器乐优秀青年研究班”。求学期间,先后师从蒋青教授和刘明源教授,并得到蒋风之教授亲傅。张尊连集演奏、教学与创作于一身,一九九三年获第三届全国民乐展播优秀演奏奖;一九九五年获国际中国民族器乐独奏大赛二胡组三等奖。他的学生在第八、九、十届北京市少年民族器乐比赛中获一、二等奖,他也为此获“园丁奖”,他创作有二胡独奏曲《陇风》。张尊连为中国音乐学院器乐系弦乐教研室主任、中国音协二胡学会理事、中国民族管弦乐学会会员。
ZHANG Zun-lian
ZHANG Zun-lian was born in 1964 in Qingdao, Shandong province. He started to learn the erhu at the age of nine. In 1977, he was admitted to the affiliated secondary school of the Central Conservatory. In 1986, he completed his university course and graduated from the China Conservatory and was then appointed as a teacher there. In 1998, he took the Study Course on National Instrumental Music for Outstanding Young Musicians. He learned the erhu under famous musicians JIANG Qing, LIU Ming-yuan and JIANG Feng-zhi. Apart from performance, he is also engaged in teaching and composition. In 1993, he won the outstanding performance award in the 3rd National Music Exhibition. In 1995, he won the third prize in the erhu section of the International Chinese National Music Instrumental Competition. His students also won first and second prizes in the 8th, 9th, and 10th Beijing Teenager Chinese Instrumental Competition, and for that he won the “Gardener Award”. He has composed the erhu piece In Gansu Style. Currently he is in charge of the school of strings of the instrumental music department in the China Conservatory, Executive Committee Member of the Erhu Society of Chinese Musicians’ Association, and member of the China Folk Orchestral Music Academy.
