唢呐演奏家胡海泉，一九三五年三月二十五日出生于辽宁北镇县一个鼓乐班世家，二○○六年十一月三日因“心脏猝死冠心病”逝世于北京。胡海泉九岁时在三叔启蒙下学习唢呐。一九五一年，考入东北鲁迅艺术学院音工团，一九五二年，调任东北人民艺术剧院，得缘演奏了杨继武、刘秉义专所作的中国第一首用管弦乐队协奏之唢呐协奏曲《欢庆胜利》。一九五四年，调北京中央歌舞团，一九六一年，又调中央民族乐团，一九六三年后，再调北京电影乐团任职。一九五六年的“全国音乐周”他演奏了民乐队协奏的唢呐协奏曲《欢庆胜利》版本，引起了业界的巨大反响，声明鹊起，此后花费了大量的时间及精力进行创作、改编和乐曲整理工作，同时还孜孜不倦地培育后进，桃李满天下。
HU Hai-quan
HU Hai-quan was born on March 25, 1935 in Beizhen county, Liaoning province and passed away of illness on November 3, 2006 in Beijing. He learned the suona under his uncle at the age of nine. In 1951, he was admitted to the music group of Lu Xun Arts Academy of Northeast China. In 1952, he was transferred to the People’s Art Theatre of Northeast China. At there, he had the chance to perform China’s first suona concerto piece Joyfully Celebrates Victory of YANG Ji-wu and LIU Bing-yi. In 1954, he was transferred to the Central Song and Dance Troupe in Beijing. After 1963, he was transferred to the Film Orchestra of Beijing until he died of heart decease. In 1956, he premiered the suona concerto Joyfully Celebrates Victory with the traditional orchestra in the Joint Performance of the National Music Week. He became famous after this performance. He then began to compose and arrange for a lot of wind instrumental music pieces by which he had taught many students.
